I had the pleasure of working with Henry Charles creating a poster for his photography showcase. The exhibition focuses on the local music scene in Copenhagen and the diversity that is a prominent feature within it, with photographs of artists stretching through various genres. Artists have been photographed in a space close to their hearts and where they feel most comfortable.
The poetic nature of the photographs and the meaning they hold in their backgrounds opened the possibilities for the type to transcend the page, becoming part of the seemingly insignificant. The challenge was to honour the exhibition's theme and express its emotive qualities.
